Built From the Ground Up
Satoshi Automation™ was founded on August 11, 2019, with a singular vision: to eliminate friction from the retail transaction entirely. What began as a bold idea — a fully autonomous, self-dispensing retail device that accepts any form of payment — has grown into a multi-year research and development effort spanning hardware engineering, artificial intelligence, and blockchain payment infrastructure.
After years of iteration, prototyping, and real-world testing, Satoshi Automation™ was formally established on October 15, 2024. Today, we are on Version #3 of our flagship platform — a fully integrated, AI-driven, self-dispensing retail device engineered to serve gas stations, liquor stores, airports, pharmacies, dispensaries, supplement stores, and beyond.
Our name pays homage to Satoshi Nakamoto, the pseudonymous creator of Bitcoin — a nod to our commitment to decentralized, borderless commerce. We believe that just as Bitcoin removed the need for a trusted third party in financial transactions, our technology removes the need for a human intermediary in the retail transaction.
